SKIN GROWTHS AND CYST REMOVAL
Our physicians treat many benign and malignant skin growths. Some examples of benign (not cancerous) but annoying growths include skin tags, rough barnacle-like growths called seborrheic keratoses, warts, molluscum, and moles. In-office procedures such as cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen (“freezing”), snipping, shave removal, as well as very light burning called electrodessication can be used. Our physicians also perform surgical excisions of skin cancers, moles, and cysts under local anesthesia.
