SOFWAVE™ For Lifting
Sofwave uses ultrasound energy to pass through the skin’s surface, heating the mid-dermal tissue at just the precise depth and temperature to rejuvenate collagen fibers. It is a non-surgical procedure to lift the brows and neck, sharpen the jawline, and has proven to improve the overall appearance of facial lines, and wrinkles. Patients are required to use a topical numbing cream one-hour before their appointment to decrease any pain. There is no downtime for this procedure, resume normal activities in 24 hours. Patients may do Sofwave once a year and studies have shown significant improvement after just one month with improvement continuing for three months.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approves clearance for lifting the eyebrow and lifting lax submental tissue (beneath the chin) and neck tissue; which can also affect the appearance of lax tissue in the submental neck regions, for subjects aged 22 or older. In addition, the Sofwave system featuring the Company’s proprietary SUPERB TM technology is also cleared by the U.S. FDA for a non-invasive dermatological aesthetic treatment to improve facial lines and wrinkles. – from Sofwave™ News Press Release
